Hon. Laviña (Davao City Councilor) and Dir. Tesorero (DoST Davao, OIC) attended the DIA meeting held last 12 December 2008, 6:00pm at the DoST Conference Room, Dumanlas Road, Bajada Ave., Davao City. The meeting was presided by Pres.Sangutan and was conducted in preparation for the upcoming National Inventors Expo which will be held on March 9-11, 2009 at SM Entertainment Area, Davao City, Philippines.
Highlights of the meeting:
- Physical layout – arrangement of booth for the exhibitors, competitors, sponsors, DIA information and logistics,and others
- Fund raising – advertisement, promotions, partnerships, and many others
- Meeting updates – submission of reports from the committees, and updates from the overall secretary
- Others – new DIA logo, launching of DIA official website, hiring or commissioning of a secretary.
Another meeting will be conducted on 19 December 2008 (venue will be announced later). On the same date, the DIA will celebrate the natal day of Christ. Be there and bring your own food!
